We received the following (October 22, 2020) from the Healthy Aging Association of Stanislaus County for Older Adults. Dianna L. Olsen, Executive Director, wrote:

This year marked our 18th Annual Healthy Aging and Fall Prevention Summit, an event that is considered one of the most successful events in Stanislaus County for Older Adults. This year, due to the pandemic, Healthy Aging Association, Kaiser Permanente, and the Area Agency on Aging wanted to let the community know that we have not forgotten about them and wanted to ensure that the older adults in our community still received resources, health information, and goodies from community organizations who are right here in our community!

Because of your support, this event was a huge success. We held the event for 5 days, virtually and through drive thru distributions; and we were able to reach our biggest number ever at 2,460 older adults.

For those who want the quick breakdown, here are the number of bags distributed to older adults:
Drive Through Distributions Across the County - 1,049
Senior Housing Communities & Senior Organizations - 961
     Home Delivered Meals - 450

We attached the following in this email:
     Link to the event program

Thank you again for your continued support!
